Clip it up, Mimi style!

This is my version of the, ever so popular, Clip It Up. I made it with a wooden paper towel holder for the base and a lamp shade hoop for the hooks to hang from. The clips are available at Michaels. I covered the base and rod with patterned paper and painted the top nob. It is much prettier in my room that the store-bought version. Thanks for checking it out.

Hope you all had a happy and safe holiday! XO, Mimi

  8. I just went to my local Michael's....I couldn't find these clips! I'm really disappointed, as I had hoped to make one, and if it turned out, make another for a friend. Do you recall what these clips were called, and what section you found them in at Michaels? Any help you could give me in tracking these down would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks so much! Carmen

  11. Emily I have searched all over to find the correct materials. I can't seem to find the lamp part of it. Can you tell me if you actually bought a lamp shade and disassembled it, or what, I really want to make one of these over the weekend. Thanks
