I wanted to show off the gift I made for a special friend and her husband. They had their wedding vows blessed after over 40 years together. It was also her Birthday. So, I wanted it to be special.
While walking through a local craft store, I saw these unfinished bird houses. They are made in such great shapes. Of course, the church is the one that spoke to me and I knew I had to get one and decorate it for her.
After giving it a good base coat of creamy vanilla paint, I covered the outside with some pretty papers. I even uses some SU shimmer paper for the roof. Then I added some washi tape, velvet and pom pom trim, leaves, vines, flowers and for the finishing touch, some shimmery "snow".
