Today is the day to celebrate everyone of the women in our lives who have touched our heart in the special way that only a Mother can.
This Mother’s Day came a little bittersweet for me since my oldest daughter and I are “at odds” to say the least. Therefore, all of the wonderful things that my baby, hubby and Mother have done for me seem to be amplified.
I am having a wonderfully peaceful day. Just enjoying all the blessings that the Lord has given me and all of the gifts that my loved ones have given me.
Look at that “Loot”! Wonderful smelling sprays and lotions. Hope they aren’t a hint. LOL! A gorgeous orchid plant and pot that was hand painted by my baby, a priceless card from my baby, some lavish Victoria Secret goodies in a cute little purse, a charm bracelet with many thoughtful charms made by my Mother, and an awesome old tool caddy. But, more than that, so much love. I am surrounded by so many loving people that truly bless my life.
I hope that all of the Mothers out there have a wonderful day, full of love, and laughter and only happy tears. Thank you for sharing this day with me. XO, Mimi
